Schiedam is historically known for its large number of jenever distilleries (older spelling genever). Jenever is “a Dutch alcoholic spirit, flavoured with juniper, rather like gin” (Wiktionary). This must be the first time in centuries that you can’t go to a pub, even a Schiedam pub, and have a shot of the stuff. Not my cup of tea, anyway. I have never been to the town, so it’s a puzzle for me as well as for you. SV image please.

Well done Walter_V_R, krenek and CuriousJM.
The answer: This could only be solved by reverse image search, so I saved you some trouble and revealed the name of the town: Schiedam, the Netherlands. The way to narrow down the search was to make use of the fact that the image shows a bridge. Dutch towns usually have many bridges, but not infinitely many, so there was a systematic way to find the place in a short time. The name of the bridge is Koninginnebrug (Queen’s Bridge). Between 1890 and 2013 we had four queens (Emma (queen-regent), Wilhelmina, Juliana and Beatrix), and I don’t know which of them the bridge was named for. 51.9059°N, 4.4090°E
