As I photographed this house in March 1999.
As the Google Street View camera photographed the same house in 2013.
One of many, many houses. This summer has been much worse.

Time for a clue...................
The location is Victoria, Australia.
The creek runs beside the road for a lot of its length and there are several crossings showing the name of the creek, so there is need to look for the burned house, not just a crossing with the creek name sign post.
There are other buildings close by the burned house which survived the fire. |

Very well found all who found the burned house, and especially Willi1 (very quick), and hhgygy (almost as quick), plus the many others too who persisted. Well done all!! It was a puzzle I had been saving for the last few years.
