The historic colonial center of Cartagena (Colombia) is one of the most unlikely places to find a smorgasbord of Russian memorabilia. But that is exactly the bar "KGB" in Cartagena. The owner has been collecting Soviet memorabilia for 20 years. The entrance to the bar and his business card, however, indicate that his bar is not an endorsement of a political philosophy, but rather a staging of art. One of the two dining rooms resembles the interior of a submarine, while the other room is a bar with flags, skates and Russian nesting dolls (known as matryoshka), badges, huge coins and hazmat suits. To top it off, waiters at the bar are dressed in contemporary Soviet uniforms. Attachments:KGB.kmz (787 B)

Wow, that sounds like such a unique and fascinating experience at "KGB" in Cartagena! Who would've thought you could find a slice of Russia in the heart of Colombia? The blend of art, history, and creativity seems like a must-see. Now, I'm curious, any recommendations for a quirky spot or maybe an interesting brunch near me?
