my recent find of remote, unexplained artifact: a 10X7 meters, dark rectangle with no sign of access road and probably a small hut (?) NW, in 2006 (and basement of it (?) on most recent imagery). earliest imagery date is 1995, but I think it is older. rectangle Nesbitt Lake.kmz (811 B) both ideas and valid infos welcome!

Could somehow have to do with the hillside. A pool of water?

yep, thought the same: even no access road essential if we imagine a small herd with a shepherd in his small hut and reservoir, BUT (considering, that this is an abandoned site at least for 8 years): -if it is water we see on imagery, then what ensures continuous water supply to keep fix water level, and -if it is only the (dark colored) bed foil sheet of an empty pool, then how it has not been filled with sand since, in such an arid environment? btw, also I would not feel this scene safe for accommodation - under those dangerous rocks, just below the top...

still unexplained, only mistery-level is rising! other rectangular features become visible on BingMaps imagery from the first site: ...? ****** and at last: - have found 2 further sites with something similar from the wider location, but these just make story more confusing! the dark stuff (here it seems like some brushwood plantation), and as new features: a rectangular platform and three, cca. 2 meters diameter cylindrical objects are clearly visible: oddity Nesbitt Lake.kmz (806 B) and nearly the same set some 1,5 miles to N: (dark stuff does not looks like shrubs again) oddity.3.0 Nesbitt Lake.kmz (810 B) no access roads (but wheel tracks!) to strange, hard-to-reach locations ... no explanation yet...

They appear to be feed stalls for cattle. They are on ranches.
The area seems green enough for a ranch to be not totally reliant on feed.
There is a trail leading off to the right of the 2nd last pic , and a truck at the bottom of the last pic.
Why up high ? perhaps more success at avoiding the heat of summer ?
Why do the fields have white spots , of such regular size and regular spacing ? Is it an artificact of photography not actually real ?
