what we can read on the sign is "Schneebergstraſʒe" (ſʒ = ß = ss, see there) = Snow Mountain Street (Schnee Berg Strasse) we can read Templehof Damm too... (Damm: wiktionary in english is not complete, see here) Damm: wiktionary in german, here, reads: "[6] ... Teil einer befestigten Straße, der für den Fahrzeugverkehr bestimmt ist"which means "Portion of a paved road intended for vehicular traffic"one of the most well-known "Damm" is the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin/Germany @ 52.5038887,13.3314806 a wiki article where one can read (chapter "history") " ... the Kurfürstendamm developed out of a historic corduroy road (German: Damm) ..." i found the location @ twitter where the main question is asked, WHY such a german name in London?user Max_Zorin gives a funny reason, haha: " It’s from when we joined the common market and the plan was to Germanise all UK street names." but the real reason is given by user Steve: " The Borough of Barnet is twinned with Templehof" which is confirmed by wiki, see London Borough of Barnet ...where the bridge is located ...Templehof is a borough of Berlin, yep!
