Been to this city once, but not here. I do not have a smartphone, just a computer and a landline phone. I have issues with getting a smartphone that I won't divulge.

And what the heck is Google Lens? Learning new stuff every day . In a smartphone with it installed you just use it for "reverse image search" and it can read/identify text to translate from an image, pretty nice and useful

I think mine is too old. Thanks for the explanation!

That sounds indeed very useful, but would have to buy a new smartphone then. I think mine is too old. Thanks for the explanation! I didn't use Google Lens for the same reason. Not enough memory on my basic smartphone.
Bur today I discovered that Google Lens is also available on my laptop. Only in the Google Chrome browser. (Right click with the mouse on a picture and you will see the option)

Are you still using the reliable Nokia 3310? I had the vague idea of Lens in Chrome, thanks for showing a new way, I was using the ooooooooold one of uploading the picture to the search tool. Thanks

Solution: {Spoiler} Inside the Domus Aurea, Rome.
The Domus Aurea (Latin, "Golden House") was a vast landscaped complex built by the Emperor Nero largely on the Oppian Hill in the heart of ancient Rome after the great fire in 64 AD had destroyed a large part of the city.
When a young Roman inadvertently fell through a cleft in the Esquiline hillside at the end of the 15th century, he found himself in a strange cave or grotto filled with painted figures.[8] Soon the young artists of Rome were having themselves let down on boards knotted to ropes to see for themselves.

Then, what made the hole? Part of the hole was already present there by nature. Probably just a collapse of the weakest point of the roof. Then, the hole looks like a "slime" because the paintings around it detached. Also in the years to come many people creeped inside the hole enlarging it even more and damaging the paintings around it
