... Set the time slider to 1940. (?) Scrolling imagery date arrow it seems that it is the same imagery from 1940 to 1960. ...so 1945 fits. ( : I would not even call it a GE data glitch, at worst as a minor mischief in data-display. ... Great spotting! |

syzygy - Thanx for the comment. I don't fully trust the dates on GE historical imagery. I have seen examples (eg abandoned airfields) which should not be possible. -Go figure!

That part of the country was photographed at least twice. Perhaps this contributes to the confusion.
