This three row grave-site contains the remains of 121 victims of the sinking of the 'Titanic'. It is the largest group of 'Titanic' victims in the world. Two thirds of the stones have a name, the rest only the date and number assigned to the body. (There seemed to be a tendency to bury third class passengers at sea). Ten more bodies are buried in the Jewish cemetery (Baron de Hirsch) 200 meters east and a further 19 in the Catholic cemetery (Mount Olivet) 1200 metrs south of the marker. The imagery from 10/03/2016 appears to show a gathering of folks at the north end of the grave-site. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairview_Lawn_CemeteryTitanic grave site..kmz (1.05 KB)
