GM SV/trail view.
Red dots unrelated to the subject. Not convinced they are actually on the ground or are lens related.

i've been mentioning @ proboard's F&G how worse are google services everyday, and google earth's too for instance, a few days ago i commented that china satellite images and google maps haven't been matching for years ( here) it has been the same problem for the prime meridian in google earth: see greenwich, almost 100 m difference with the real one: gosh, it has ALREADY been mentioned in 2006 @ the very good google earth blog (unfortunately now inactive) google, they just care about money and monopoly, not about quality or about users 162 views

The mismatch between actual Prime Meridian and Google Earth/Maps is quite pronounced. Their reasoning is that we can now use satellite accuracy rather than transit instrumentation.
BUT - if the Prime Meridian was set in by whatever instrumentation, then surely it's the satellites that need a little tweeking not a line that is set in stone, steel and monuments.
