I stumble and fumble, Computers are a challenge to me but I will in time overcome this situation, hopefully. ? Do you recognize my avatar. I found it on google earth pro, can you find it. Clue, it's around the north pole. If you can see it/find it please let me know. Thanks.
Last Edit: May 31, 2019 23:25:53 GMT by symplesymonsezzz: Added more info and a question to the forum

I need your help.. My 1st post doe's not belong in fun and games forum. The question I asked is a real question and not a riddle or a joke. My avatar is of unknown origin, I found it on google earth and it came out of nowhere, it wasn't there and then it was. I need to know if anyone else can find it or has seen it before on google earth. This is not photoshopped I would not know how to do it. I need my question put in a forum where it will get plenty of exposure and maybe I will get an answer.......WHAT IS THIS, my avatar. Again I repeat, This must be moved to another forum. Should I re -post it???

Thanks for your response and the welcome. I did try the south pole but it is too white, nothing found. Hocus-pocus maybe, I did wonder if someone at google was messing with me. As for the slider, I never used it. Are you able to on your map, see it, find it. I will be adding pictures of several other things I have found in the future. I am looking forward to being part of the community and sharing discoveries. Many thanks.

most of the strange looking features on GE imagery have simple explanations - you can find a bunch of them around here, on Data discussions subforum, where also this posting should be on the best place.
nevermind however: you got the best warm welcome this way - moved to our most active subforum; F&G with the most active community members on the GE Globe!(;
also would ask you; do not post only screenshot images but kmz placemarks attached to your future posts!
CuriousJM: diane9247 - I have solved the problem by uploading kmz file to Google Drive and then sharing it with anyone with the link. I have then posted the link. Please see my latest post "Equatorial Monuments Around the World"

syzygy: For single or a few placemarks coordinates still fine of course!

syzygy: Yup! Sorry everyone for the attachment issue! Hope will be solved soon! Until links to kmz files stored elsewhere is can be a solution...

RaveyThirteen: So... I just tried to add a .kmz of some new finds and saw that nasty error message. Should I just hold onto it til the space issue is sorted?

typsish: As far as I know, it should be foldable. But check the rules of the company you are flying with. They have the specific requirements mentioned in the luggage section. And if the stroller you have now doesn't fit their requirements, check the article on new

diane9247: I don't know what to do about the "space limit" thing. I got a post ready, then couldn't upload the small file. I am losing eyesight, so not sure I can even post anymore! 😵💫(Pinned unfinished post last night, but it didn't save.)

willi1: GE Imagery Date: Yes, I noticed it too. And I thought it was something of an attitude on my part.

SpiderX22: In regards to this error - on my forum posts/threads -> I can start compiling attached files into one kml collection to slim down attachment numbers
