Space navigator not working properly in GE

Hello there,

After struggling for some time I turn to you for advice.

I have the wireless space navigator that works perfectly in Google Earth..and I use it daily..
Now my colleague got one as well with the only difference is having a wired one..
When she doesn't touch it, earth stands still but as soon as you touch it, earth starts to mspin nervous and shockey..
We compared differences but there are none.. she also switched GE version to mine but with the same effect.

The navigator setup is good and works perfectly in 3dsmax and the 3Dconnexxion tutorial.. So I think it's somewhere in GE's setup..

Restarting a couple of times does not help.. I attached her navigator to my computer and there it works fine..

I have read about switching of the pan & zoom option in the preferences folder of GE.. But that is not there
We only have 'tools> options'

Am I missing something here.. does any one have a solution to this problem?

I also use 3Dconnexion SpaceNavigator (USB), it works fine. In GE pro under Tools / Options / Navigation, only the hook for external controllers is to be activated. There is no more. Otherwise, can it be a driver problem?
