rails on the ocean floor

I found some strange things in search of Google Earth,
Is there an explanation of the rails on the ocean floor with these great dimensions?

When you follow the lines, it looks like a gigantic machine looking for something on the ocean floor

The seabed in GE is not a photographic image but a (often rough) computer model of mostly satellite data. This is supplemented by depth measurements by echo sounder or sonar.
What you are seeing are the traces of these sonar measurements by ships.
