Pattern in the fields

Not far from Stonehenge you can see these structures in the fields. My guess: archaeological search excavations. Maybe someone knows more?

at first glance some artistic pattern, but serious? -do not think! also have doubts with archaeology -seems rather "industrial"-, but who knows.

first thing I have spotted (also on SV), how interesting pig farming is goin on after the rundabout, under a smaller slice of your interesting pattern.

also noticed, all this situated on a higher elevation area, stretching along a deeper section of a hillside (-top), which can be good place for a wind turbine park...

hmm... let this one bookmarked for a while! (;

must be some big-step archaeological (other?) field survey after all.

various sources report about major improvements on A303 highway with tunnels and bypasses around stonehenge so these are scars of the rescue excavations (other survey?) along the planned bypass roads/tunnels,
