During their first US tour in 1964, the Beatles landed at Walnut Ridge's Regional airfield in Arkansas to change planes, and causing a stir in the town. The reminder of the stopover lasts until today. In particular on the "Guitar Walk", whose main piece is the representation of an Epiphone guitar, as it was then used by the Beatles.
This is the crosswalk where the Beatles shot the photo for the Abbey Road album cover. (Sadly, Street View doesn't capture it from the same angle ) It looks very different today, but the stone walls on the left are very recognisable.
