hi and welcome! thanks new find! proximity of the Cerne Abbas Giant might be an explanation for such activity from locals. can this be some symbol or just a "free-hand" pattern? looks similar to the old scissors-tool for shearing the sheep. -well, being in England, it starts to sound a good guess. This large crop circle was discovered on June 4, 2018 near Sixpenny Handley, Dorset (UK). The GE picture is dated June 7, 2018. Visitors have already left their mark and added other "ornaments". The circle can be found in the immediate vicinity of the Ackling Dyke (ancient Roman road, course still clearly visible) and the Dorset Cursus (prehistoric, not visible in GE). There is close also a prehistoric burial mound (unfortunately I did not find anything specific for this tumulus).
