Street View: Don Edwards Natianal Wildlife Refuge, southern San Francisco Bay. A place not random or unfamiliar to those who know it. Its past the main portion of the refuge, where an old frontage road, now named Marshlands Rd, follows the Dumbarton Bridge west and ends here. Its a mix of nature and human impact. A cool spot on a hot day. Protected breeding grounds of the threatened or endangered snowy plover and at that time closed to public access.
