Street View_ Young Metasequoia glyptostroboides. Dawn Redwood, choked between two Sequoia sempervirens. Coast Redwood on Broadway Street in Redwood City, California. The place is some kind of community center; a plaque at the base of the exotic species dedicates it to a city landscaper.

pitter, heres another famous Metasequoia at Hamilton PO in Palo Alto, likely planted in 1948.
