Street View please! It may look hard but there cannot be many SV traverses inside a factory. Have Fun.

Thanks for the clue! My initial reaction was that it was a compressor house for making Industrial Gases.

and congratulations to krenek, CJM and hhgygy. You did well - I thought it was difficult, however you all did not. Another clue for any one else ....... It is (was), a sugar cane juice factory.

Can someone tell me if there is like a website where you can search for these street view "traverses"? Otherwise I don't see how to use this clue... Oh, if someone could explain the first clue too, the photo. Why is that helping?

Hi JL, Sorry I missed your post. I do not know if there is a list of Street View "traverses". Sorry, maybe someone else does. The first clue shows the final product that was manufactured. The second clue tells you what was used to manufacture the final product. I hope that helps.

The second clue tells you what was used to manufacture the final product. I hope that helps. Thanks Oz. I probably phrased my questions wrong. For the 1st one, I now realize the photo was not a SV image and was reverse googlable. So the general area can be found, and the type of place. For the second question, yes, I know what "factory" means. What I meant was, once you know what kind of place it is, how do you find it without checking dozens of those places... And searching for it in SV doesn't seem to work. Thanks.

Hi JL, I haven't worked out how to use the QUOTES thing yet; I have experimented but haven't got it to work. Help! All my images above are back-pack SV camera images. I guess I'll finalise this puzzle now. I will not bother about spoilers. Congratulations Groovy and all others who persisted and found the place. The factory is that of Habitation Clément in Martinique. It manufactured rum. The first SV image is here. If you have the time to "wander around" you may find the others! I found the location by zooming out to see the whole world on Google Maps, then move the pegman out from his dock; that has the effect of showing all blue blobs where there are SV images. By selecting the smallest blue blob and zooming in one can find some of these isolated SV back-pack traverses. There are many more withing the regions of car-borne SV, which I have no idea how to find. You may know all this, however it may be of interest to others. Cheers, Oz
