A large central uplited mountain in Nicholson Crater. The crater is roughly 60 miles across and the mountain about 25-30 miles across. Also notable is steep portions of the crater rim. The tall feature in the center of this hill is the central peak of the crater, which forms when the surface material ‘rebounds’ after being compressed during the formation of an impact crater. It is clear that this feature has been heavily sculpted after its creation, by the action of wind or even water. Attachments:Nicholson Crater.kmz (1017 B)
