Click and wait for Street View:_This small stretch of a minor tributary of Arcade Creek in Citrus Heights, California, is completely enclosed behind chain link fence. I dont know why or who controls it or what mitigation history it might have. But it speaks volumes about how we use the land. A drainage emerges from under the pavement. Fortunately, even tho its here the back side of a shopping center, its on Steret View. Both embankments and the streambed itself are lined with three species of native oak, willow, and Fremont cottonwood. Beyond the far left side of this view is a medium sized non native black acacia. Also view from above. Remove the fence, build a pathway through the trees.
