Con base en un mapa realizado por el museo arqueológico de Tunja (Colombia) en 1994, por docentes de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, se georeferencian los sitios actuales en donde se emplazaban cercados, bohios, cojines y mojas, sitios sagrados de los indígenas que habitaban el territorio donde se ubica la actual ciudad.
