The Man in the Moon is an imaginary figure resembling a human face, head or body, that observers from some cultural backgrounds typically perceive in the bright disc of the full moon. The figure is composed of the dark areas (the lunar maria, or "seas") and lighter highlands of the lunar surface.
When I posted this back in 2009 it was, of course, for fun and just to illustrate a old sort of legend, dating back to before the human civilization developed the capabilities of studying the moon too enough detail and with a scientific approach then to realize that it is a object in space and that it is not and has not any 'human' like properties.
But as the internet works, back then it was misinterpreted as I actually was a believer that here was a man in the moon. Mostly because I missed to put some smileys to indicate that. So for this re-post I give you a bunch of smileys in OP for a start.
smileys are added to ensure nobody are supposed to take this as if there actually is a man in the moon...
Next I will below quote/incorporate some info on Pareidolia, similar as done in this post I re-posted a couple of days ago:

tek: But when one scrolls down to the bottom of the page, what they see must be the true bottom of the forum page, not a chatbox.

tek: Does it not collapse when you want it to collapse?

Walter_V_R: I second that. It is annoying to have this Shoutbox floating around in the middle of the text you want to read.

krenek: can you please put it back where it was, at the bottom of the screen ...much better imho
Aug 22, 2022 7:58:08 GMT
krenek: few people use it

krenek: 1) this shoutbox is much too much intrusive

tek: This one is sizable, too. Move mouse to the left of the blue title bar, and so on...
