This is where the controversial statue to Nathan Bedford Forrest is.  The city authorities wish to block the view to this statue from the interstate freeway.  It has been reported on in the Rachel Maddow Show, and elsewhere in the media.

Wow...I haven't looked up Mr. Forrest, yet,but that statue kind of makes me afraid to. Eek!
