Show Elevation Profile - Changes when zooming

I have made a path in Google Earth and the elevation profile changes when I zoom in and out. 
Attatched is two print screens showing two different elevations at the end of the path (to the far right) I have more but I can't attatch more than two files.

I use the elevation profiles for calculating water pipes, so this is a big deal for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Joakim, welcome. 

The official help forum is here: productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/maps.  We are not affiliated with Google.  However, I don't think there's much anyone can tell you about this, the elevation profiles are just not reliable.  You will also see changes if you resize the Google Earth window.  I'm surprised to see such a large difference though.

Ah, I see. I will give the official forum a try. Thank you for your help!
