CLUE The twin of Bosphorus bridge in a sense. I'm quite into geography since my childhood but somehow I never heard the name of this strait.

CLUE The twin of Bosphorus bridge in a sense. I'm quite into geography since my childhood but somehow I never heard the name of this strait. Thanks for the helpful clue. What is amazing is how anyone could find this without a clue. OK, there is a bridge, but it's very far and looks like a lot of bridges. Unless you check them all one by one, was there a shortcut to it?

That enourmosly narrowed my researches, I checked just one bridge before the correct one.

I was there several times, just couldn't find the point of view (mainly because I searched at the other side)

johnluke I could see that the bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cable-stayed_bridge ). The most famous of their kind is the Millau Viaduct, and that's what I checked. Then I checked the correct one. This one is also a new one, so new that you can see it while in construction with GE historical imagery: I find this awesome.

I was totally misled by ndrqu's response in my Steep Climb post. Though the terrain looked different I kept on searching for this view of the bridge in my post from all possible spots/angles. Linked Clue - I found this while trying to solve " An Amazing view #3" by hhgygy (which I have yet to solve ). If you found this, you are on the right tracks, keep searching

Sorry man, I just wanted to say that the type of the bridge is the same. They both cable-stayed bridges Ndrqu no need to be sorry - It was my fault. Once I realised that the terrain was different I should have searched for other bridges of same type.
