i've got a few things in waiting... + question: i would like to transfer a few "good" posts of mine (like the LOVE one) from the oGEC but, when i edit my said posts, i only get the text... does it mean i have to re-install all the image links over here?

Yes mate, it's a small problem, I use photobucket to do mine, once you get into the gist of things it becomes faster to do. I look forward to your posts, Don't forget you can use E&T to play with. Cheers

I also want to copy several of my posts from oGEC. I have found that if I select and copy the entire contents of the post and then paste it into a WYSIWYG html editor (Frontpage or Komposer) then all the images and links etc. are copied intact (It works with Chrome, Opera Next and Firefox, doesn't work with IE.
On the minus side when I see the html code of the pasted page then it is full of additional codes which needs cleaning up before being converted to UBB code. It is helluva job.
I also noticed that when I use Firefox then the clutter in html code is much less. Though it is not my default Browser (I use Opera Next) I intend to use it for this special purpose.
I will be happy and grateful if someone can suggest a better method of copying posts from oGEC to nGEC
