This puzzle is difficult even with the clues given in OP. Well done Walter, Bridge and Krenek in finding it. Here is a hint for others; There is a hidden clue in the op < White on White>. It can be read by selecting the text in OP As some one had mentioned a few days ago this is an old trick which was being used in the good old days of BBS. Sorry to new comers for being sneaky! More clues, if needed will follow.

I had discovered four of the five possible towns for this but didn't have the patience to search them. Thanks for the clue, CuriousJM. I'm afraid I'm guilty of starting that but didn't think to use the technique to solve this one. I just searched the oGEC. The original was way back in 2007 which means that... old trick ...is a very apt description.

Yes Seefit you became a victim of trap devised by you! Well done Lock. Now that the old trick is out again in open, all of us including myself will have to on the look out for such traps. Here is another clue for others; Just answer any or both of following two questions and you may get the gift box. Q. 1 - If one is new to a town which is best place to get information about the town? Q. 2 - Where does one go to buy such things? and remember that your answer should be in the language of that country.
