Time for a clue? A literal transcription of the name of the person who lies buried here, when entered in Google, will produce three search results, none of them of any use. Changing the Christian name to the way it is usually written will lead to a genealogy site which specifies where he died (and was buried). A search for surname plus year of death may also lead to this website.

Well done all.
The answer: Hier liggt begraaven [here lies buried] Ioannes van Wassenaer gestorven [died] den XXVI Iuly ... MDCLII ... He can be found as Johannes van Wassenaer (1606-1652) at (among other places) the genealogical site geni.com, which mentions that he died at Buiksloot (now a part of Amsterdam). Further research tells us that he was the founder of the Buiksloot church (as well as the nearby Nieuwendam church). So it makes sense that he was buried in ‘his’ church. The building is now mainly used for functions like weddings. Buiksloot, Netherlands. 52.4018°N, 4.9163°E
