Answer: This is the meteorological station on Gough Island, in the Atlantic Ocean. The only man-made structure on the island.
To serve the station is the ship S. A. Agulhas II, that once a year brings scientists and food to the settlement. The ship is dedicated to south african singer Miriam Makeba. |
