So this is the second episode of my "Yes or No" idea, if you don't know the rules, read this spoiler: I am going to post a picture of a place from GE, the place CAN be found on Google however it's not easy. To narrow the searches, everyone of you can ask me a question but only ONCE, and I can answer to that question only with "YES" or "NO". For example, the question "Is this place in Russia?" is a valid question, but "Which country is this place in?" is NOT a valid question, because I can't answer it with YES or NO. So every question/answer is like an hint and everyone can read it, but you have to accurately think about your question and you can either get a good information or you can completely waste it. Obviously, if you find the place you don't need to make any question. Here the image. Observe it carefully before making questions, it's a very interesting place. EDIT: I had to slightly change the image because Google could reverse-find it. If you opened this image before seeing this message, please close it! Be also careful about this when you post the answer, thank you

I don't know how widespread this rule is, but, when we play yes/no, if we get a "yes" answer we are allowed to have another turn. If that's not the case with your puzzles, ndrqu, ignore the next question. Is it in Europe?

Yes Actually even one word is enough. One word which isn't a proper noun? Really? Yes, it's not an easy word, it's very specific and I don't think there is a way you can think of it just looking at the image. But two or three words are surely a possibility

Can someone who hasn't asked a question, please ask, er, a question? Only three guesses out of 180 views. I don't think I'm smart enough to ask a question, other than the geographic area, which is identified. Based on the water pond, no major road, the rocky/exposed earth, I guess I'd ask: Is it related to the mining industry?

Too soon for the solution, let me give you a hint first: The project began in 1970. In 1989 it almost reached his goal, but it still broke two world records. It held one of these records for almost two decades, and it still holds one right now. The project was then closed in 2005, and the site abandoned in 2008.

Thanks for the clue. Interestingly, when I Google about 6 of the words I felt were key in the clue, 4 of the first 5 links were to a UK rock band Gorillza, Mariah Carey, George Harrison and Dr. Who! ?? The appropriate link was third on the list!

AAAAHHH, finally. Thanks for the big clue. Now when you post the solution, don't hesitate to tell us how this could be found, especially without a clue. I'd loooove to know.

Solution: This was a Yes or No challenge, so I have choosen a place that doesn't really give you much to work with by just looking at it. The purpose was to find the place by narrowing the searches with the questions/answers. In fact, I still have no idea how hhgygy, krenek and Walter found it without my first hint. Just to clarify, the single non-noun word that could get you to this place was "superdeep". "Borehole" also does, but within the first 70 results on GI. I didn't try many others but I believe there are. And for sure there are combinations of two. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_Superdeep_Borehole
