Hi, I've used GE from the early days but am new to your forum.
I live in Mendocino County, CA, which was ravaged in the same cluster of raging forest fires that hit Sonoma and Napa counties. Unfortunately, we get scant attention from the major media outlets.
While the fire maps show areas that were burned, they do not show individual buildings.
Many of us and most of our relatives far away would like to see if our homes and neighborhood businesses are still standing (I am safe and wasn't burned out.)
Does anyone know if GE is creating new overlays of the burn areas in northern California USA? Just the satellite view would be immensely helpful. I do understand that the ground view is not possible at this time, so please don't tell me that.
I remember how quickly GE had images of the historical sites that ISL destroyed. Will that happen for us living up here now?
