I just registered on this forum, and I find it really interesting. I love these kind of games. I have seen some of the previous puzzles and they are really impossible for me to solve, I guess I'll have to build some experience Here's one for you, let's see how it goes (hoping I didn't do anything wrong).

Welcome, ndrqu. I hope you enjoy it here. That's often the case for many of us. But, sometimes we do manage to solve them - like this one which I didn't think I would be able to do. I got lucky.

I have seen some of the previous puzzles and they are really impossible for me to solve, I know what you mean, ndrqu. Most puzzles seem impossible to solve to me too. Like the three puzzles you've posted so far, I can't solve any of them! But that's what makes F&G what it is! Welcome to Fun and Games!

But I put in them a lot of effort and I make sure there IS a way to get to the solution. I really enjoy doing that. I will soon post a clue for this one.

Yea they are hard. But I put in them a lot of effort and I make sure there IS a way to get to the solution. That's the main thing. I try to do that too. I'll wait for your clues. I tried all the search words I could think of. I've seen many pipelines.

Answer: So... from my picture you can observe a typical Alaskan landscape. If that's not the case, the Exxon Valdez hint should have brought you here. Luckily for you, there is only one Pipeline running through Alaska, this one: Now, from the puzzle picture, you can see there is a big body of water straight in front of the road, and a snowy mountain in the background. According to the Pipeline map, the body of water should narrow your searches to 3 or maximum 4 spots (a few lakes and the Yukon river). Now it's just a matter of finding the Pipeline on Google Earth, and the few elements that appear on the puzzle picture. The moment you check at the Yukon River, you get to the solution: also, if you are coming from the future I have a message for you: TANAP

Nice puzzle which I couldn't solve. Alaska had crossed my mind but I thought searching for a pipeline in Alaska will be a too tedious task. Moreover I got misled by a very old rule of Fun and Games called "The Rule of The First Post" as per which; A first time poster will generally post a puzzle about his neighbourhood/town. I searched for pipelines near Rome but to no avail.

Nice rule, but didn't work for me And come on.. the landscape is completely different from the one around Rome, there is no spot like that in all Italy, that's just too different
