Found these while touring Google Maps Streetview in Porto District Portugal. I guess they are underground restrooms, kind of interesting if want to keep the surrounding areas free of restroom stalls. Underground Mens and womens Bathroom.kmz (792 B)  |

We used to have such restrooms here in Gothenburg, Sweden up until the 1990'ties, just next to the main canal. They removed them when they decided to expand the public transport network (trams & buses) and clean the area up. Nowadays you find the Lion Stairs in the same place. Students from Chalmers (CTH) just loved to mount London style Underground signs above the entrances.

hi guys! we also had one around here below street level with cellar windows and draft chimney. good 360°Cities photo in layers at 46°25'5.34"N, 20°19'44.49"E from the times it was been a second-hand import shoes shop.
