Hello: I have times when I need to generate a picture/map of an area that is bigger than the view when set a a specific altitude (say 1000 feet). At one time NASA Ames Research Center created a program called GEOCP that allowed the user to define the area of interest and then select the altitude value. Then the software started in one corner of the desire area and sort of bulldozed across the selection area creating a single file that showed the area at the desire altitude. It turns out that the software has not been updated since 2008 and is no longer being used by the NASA Ames Research Center resulting in the fact that the software won't work in the new versions of Google Earth Pro. It would be nice if Google Earth had this capability built in. The main focus of the original software was to allow users to use the data offline when internet connection is impossible.
Please note, this thread is for the proboards software and Not Google Earth. Admin.
