Hi Just found what look like a circular and maybe concentric formation in what we moroccans call South Morocco, but in what is better known as Western Sahara. I searched in several database and don't find this place. What you think about it ? Possible ancient crater.kmz (693 B)

i don't believe it is the heavily eroded remains of an impact crater, and is more likely associated with the remains of an old mountain range which is now reduced to low dark hills called Adrar Sotuf a bit further to the east. It is most likely the heavily eroded remains of an igneous dome, perhaps a laccolith, expressed as low hills named Tercat.
