The satellite and radar images have been the same and is not updating. It has been on the same images for a week almost. I rely on that for current weather forecasting but its not up to date. Example the hurricane Andress has not been changed in 4 days and its already gone but still shows up 4 days ago. I have checked all settings and nothing updates to the current weather. I also use it for forecasting typhoons for the Philippines and I cant. Please figure out what is wrong with this.
The fact that the Weather Layer in Google Earth has stopped updating has been reported in the Google Earth Help forum and escalated to Google. There is no way to tell when this layer might be repaired if ever. Google moves in mysterious way and on a different timeline than we simple users.
The US National Hurricane Center also covers storms in the Pacific. Their site can also direct you to other storm tracking sites around the world.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more, Or close the wall up with our English dead! In peace there's nothing so becomes a man As modest stillness and humility, But when the blast of war blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger: Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, Disguise fair nature with hard-favored rage; Then lend the eye a terrible aspect: FUAS! :/
I can confirm that the Google Earth team is definitely aware of the problem.
When it will be fixed is anyone's guess
"From our orbital vantage point, we observe an earth without borders, full of peace, beauty and magnificence, and we pray that humanity as a whole can imagine a borderless world as we see it, and strive to live as one in peace."
