NOTE:
This one is hard (but possible). You will need a good intuition and wizardry (hey Walter) without the hints. With the hints it will be much easier, but let's see how it goes for now. It's SV, good luck!

found another one (yours: ) on the same road: i agree with hhgygy, it's fairly "not too difficult" ( johnluke, i indeed recognized the mountain in the background)

Well, I miss the basket completely... I don't recognize fences, I don't know fences. I can't read it. I don't know that mountain. I did try a few obvious keywords... nothing. I've been thinking, maybe we should have a new rule at F&G. I wonder what the mods think: a puzzle cannot be called "easy" if the number of views divided by the number of correct answers exceeds a certain number (to be determined by the community). Formula: V / A > N Not easy Say, if we decide N should be 10, and we have three correct answers and 56 views, the puzzled is officially "not easy". How about it?

or: "easy" = what johnluke does not find "difficult" = what johnluke finds Well, you could easily replace my name in what you said with any other name in the forum, including yours, krenek. That is precisely why I was suggesting a formula, you see. Take for example "easier than you think", seeing how many people found it, I must admit it must be easy, even though I didn't find it. But one thing has to go imho, it's when people say it's easy and there are three correct answers and 200 views! But then I also understand "easy" is a matter of personal judgment too. It's just that I think we could reach an agreement for a definition of the term in F&G. Otherwise if you call "easy" something that was viewed 150 times and found by 4 people, it only sounds like badly disguised bragging.

I don't want to spoil the enjoyment of finding it but you should think a bit out of the box sometimes. Long-long fence: that should remind you of something, I believe.

Maybe my problem is I am thinking too much out of the box and not enough in it. It seems that way every time I see the solution of a puzzle I didn't find. And as you probably know, we live in a world full of long fences... As Lockhopper seems to confirm, you have to know this one to find it.

I am very surprised of all the answers! I think that if someone else made this puzzle, I would have never guessed it without the first hint atleast. You make me proud! The hint will be in a few hours.

Hint: The fence on the North side of the image runs along all the border between two countries. I've noticed something, ndrqu, about your hints - I hope you don't mind me saying - it's that very often, your hint says something that I already knew or suspected. I don't know if it's just a series of recent coincidences or what, but I am under the impression that it happens quite often. I don't know why. Edit: Anyway, I've run out of keywords for this one too. I looked for it, I swear. The real puzzle for me is, like often, why this is so easy. Because obviously it is. Maybe it's something in the news, or some special knowledge that I don't have that is needed here. We'll see, in a couple of weeks, when the solution is given.

Thanks for the clue and as OZ says it is a looong fence and the drive was really loooooooooong! Found it just in time before my better half pulled the PC's plug. (It is 15 to midnight here)

OK, this is just to prove that I looked for this. But I'm afraid the road stops here for me. I tried roughly 25 various combinations of words on this. Plus more scanning of areas than I usually allow myself to do.

Just a suggestion... to find the spot, put on the terrain in GE and find the mountain in the background, there is a compass on the OP image. Should not be too hard

Last Hint: The fence is between USA and Mexico. Look at the position of the mountain, show terrain on GE, and you can find it. And the last little help: start from the west coast

Last Hint: start from the west coast Now you tell me! Now if you guys can tell what mountain that is just by looking at it, you're either American or Mexican geographers or you spend too much time in GE!!! OK, post the solution now, JL has found the place! If this could be found with keywords, I'd like to know. Thanks.
